For parents
Is fencing accessible for all children?
Yes. We teach fencing for ages reception to Year 6. Our reception classes are adapted, often using foam swords and masks. For our metal foil fencing club, lessons are designed for ages 7-12.
Is fencing safe?
Absolutely. Fencing is a safe sport for children, and our coaches are trained to ensure a secure and structured environment at all times. We use top-quality equipment to maintain safety during every class.
Do I need to buy lots of equipment?
No. We provide all necessary equipment for our sessions, both in schools and at our club, so there's no need for you to purchase anything.
Can my child try a class?
Yes! Please get in touch with us to arrange a trial class and see how much your child enjoys fencing.
For schools
Do you manage the booking process?
Yes, we can handle bookings directly for you, or we can work with your existing booking system if you prefer. Just let us know your preference, and we’ll ensure everything is set up smoothly.
When can you schedule classes?
We strive to accommodate your preferred schedule and can work with you to find the best times for your classes. Please let us know your availability, and we’ll do our best to fit our sessions into your timetable.
What kind of space do you need for the classes?
We can adapt to various spaces depending on the size of the class. Our classes can be held in halls, classrooms, or outdoors on dry, flat surfaces like concrete. Just let us know what space you have available, and we’ll make it work!
Can you come in for an assembly?
Yes, we can! Please get in touch to arrange a free trial assembly where we’ll introduce fencing to the children and spark their interest.
Are your coaches experienced in teaching children?
Yes, all of our coaches are trained in behavior management, and most have experience working in school settings or with children in sports. This ensures they are well-equipped to provide a supportive and effective learning environment.
